May bank holiday 2009

Just a reminder to anyone thinking of visiting that this weekend is probably not the ideal time to see the orchids. They have only just started to flower and the ground is still quite damp and muddy around the Lady orchids & hybrids. However, I will be up there as often as I can manage, to finish off some mapping and assist any visitors.

We have fenced off the area immediately around the hybrids and Lady orchids because it is getting more and more muddy and it must be protected from any more trampling. We hope to allow closer access to the plants another time but for now please respect the site and the plants and do not tread beyond the tapes/markers.
