BBC at Hartslock
Last Thursday the BBC did some filming for a new series called Country Tracks – due to show on the old Countryfile slot on Sunday lunchtimes. From their initial blurb it seems to be a programme looking back at some of the old Countryfile articles and tieing them in with walks through areas of outstanding beauty. Hartslock will be a small snippet in the section on the Thames Path and, although the filming took about 3 hours, it will probably be edited down to a few minutes. Ecologist and The One Show guest presenter Ellie Harrison will be presenting this part of the series.
BBOWT was ably represented by Debbie Lewis, who did the on-screen interviews, and Helen Walsh, who is our Media & Communications manager. I just lent my local knowledge and made sure the crew didn’t tread on anything valuable, and I am pleased to say they were all charming and very well-behaved.
